Description

The Guava Tree, scientifically known as Psidium guajava, is a small to medium-sized tree that belongs to the myrtle family. It is native to tropical regions of Central and South America, but is now widely cultivated in many parts of the world, including Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. The tree can grow up to 2 meters in height, but is usually around 1.2 meters tall.

The Guava Tree has a smooth, thin bark that is usually light brown or gray in color. Its leaves are oval-shaped, glossy, and dark green, with a leathery texture. The tree produces small, white flowers that are followed by round or oval-shaped fruits that are typically 4-12 centimeters in diameter. The fruit has a green or yellow skin, and a sweet, juicy flesh that can be white, pink, or red in color.

The Guava Tree is a hardy plant that can tolerate a wide range of soil types.
