- Soil: Sago Palm prefers well-draining, slightly acidic soil. Use a soil mixture that is specifically designed for palms or cacti.
- Fertilizer: Sago Palm benefits from a balanced, slow-release fertilizer applied every two to three months during the growing season.
- Pruning: Remove any yellow or brown fronds by cutting them off at the base of the stem. It is also recommended to remove any offsets or pups that develop at the base of the plant to prevent overcrowding.
- Propagation: Sago Palm can be propagated by division, separating offsets or pups from the base of the plant. Allow the cuttings to dry for several days before planting in well-draining soil.
