Description

Indian Shot, also known as Canna Indica, is a beautiful and exotic plant that is native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas. It is a herbaceous perennial plant that can grow up to 2 meters tall, but the variety we are discussing here is a smaller version that grows up to 30-40cm in height.

The plant has large, broad leaves that are green in color and can grow up to 60cm in length. The flowers of the Indian Shot are also quite striking, with bright and vibrant colors ranging from red, orange, yellow, and pink.

The flowers are arranged in clusters at the top of the stem and bloom from late spring to early fall. The plant produces small, black seeds that resemble shot pellets, hence the name "Indian Shot". These seeds are used in traditional medicine for their anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
